On February 22, 2021, Vice President Lin Danming of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology visited China Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Israel Jizhi Technology), and the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation.

Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) is located in Shantou, Guangdong Province. It is jointly organized by the world-renowned Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Guangdong Shantou University. It is the first Chinese-foreign cooperative university with independent legal personality to introduce Israel's high-quality higher education resources. The first batch of undergraduate majors are chemical engineering and technology, biotechnology, materials science and engineering. Majors of mathematics and applied mathematics will be added in 2020, and the first batch of more than 200 undergraduates will graduate in 2021.

China Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. is Haizhi Workstation of Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology, which carries the work responsibilities of attracting talents and technologies from abroad, based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. At the same time, as the awarded transformation base of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievements Fair, China Jizhi Technology will provide talents and technical services to more than 30 other transformation bases and base service units. Fu Xixi, general manager of China Israel Jizhi Technology, suggests that the two parties can carry out the training and delivery of international innovative scientific and technological talents, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

During the meeting, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement on jointly establishing the "Guangdong Israel Institute of Technology College Student Internship Base".

Liang Gaofeng, the second-level investigator of the Guangzhou Science and Technology Association/China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair Office, and Zhao Wei, secretary of the Guangdong Economic and Technological Development Research Association, attended the meeting and invited the Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology to bring outstanding scientific and technological achievements to participate in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Trade, which will be very useful for international scientific and technological cooperation personnel training and exchanges.
